Just recently I acquired (4) V & B. Mettlach German Military History plates.
I was wondering what the (Metty) collector interest in them may be?
They do appear to match the Mettlach Steins bearing the German Military guys.

These are listed in The Mettlach Book, but there are no matching steins for this series. This is a series of 12 8.5 inch plaques, form 1044, decoration 737 lettered A through H and J through M. They are PUG or print under glaze military scenes. Mettlach did make some rectangular military plaques that had matching steins. In the photo showing all four, A and C are on the top and F and K are on the bottom. Decoration 737F has a bad chip which will reduce its value significantly.

These might be of some interest to reservist or regimental stein collectors. PUG wares have a lower value to Mettlach collectors.
