I have a antique german glass stein circa 1900 to 1920-ish that I would personally refer to as having a carnival glass coating (metallic salts) in the yellow to orange range, but I have also heard these referred to as being amber. What really is the correct stein terminology to describe this coating/coloring? I have never heard them referred to as simply carnival glass.
