I have a small stein – about 2and 3/4 inches tall with a pewter lid. It has what seems to be a coat of arms – child against a shield. The “coat of arms” is raised (sticks out from the stein). On one side of the “coat of arms” it says in German greetings from and Munich is on the other side. Near the handle is a squarish mark with the number 8 inside. I have looked through numerous internet sites and have not seen this stein. Can anyone give me some information on what I have – maker, value, etc. Thanks for your help!!

    Sandy,

You have a 1/8 Liter souvenir stein from Munich showing its symbol, the Munich Child. Small steins are generally unmarked.
