I found a beautiful pewter beer stein that has 2 touch marks inside and a sticker on the bottom. I have tried searching for makers marks/touch marks to find out more information about when this beer stein was made and who made it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am including links to pictures I posted on the collectors weekly website. If the links in this post don’t work then the website link should take you there. Thanks again!
This is a modern pewter stein. The sticker is a mark of purity seal for the pewter craft indicating it is safe for food and drink. Since the one touchmark has a “K,” look for a German city with “K,” such as Koln and look for pewter firms in that city. You could also search ebay.de.
