Idendification of this large Pewter Stein

    Hello,
    I was given 5 steins by my uncle when he passed. I have been trying to gather info on them and am having trouble with a few mainly this one posted below does anyone know who uses the fish logo with the letters A J (last one unreadable)?

    I have others that have this marking on them they are amber glass with pewter
    Smaller pair of Amber glass with pewter steins bottom

      Cory,

      This is most likely the mark of Anton Schreiner of Nabburg, Bavaria. They used the fish symbol with the initials ASN. See http://www.steinmarks.co.uk/pages/pv.asp?p=stein857 The firm is still in business, so if you contact them they may be able to date the mark for you.
