I have this beer stein that my grandmother used to own, she had it for 40+ years before she passed. The only cursors I can find is a stamp that has an H with a backwards and forwards “E” under it, and “Made in Germany” right across (I’ll post pics at the bottom). If anyone can help me out I’d greatly appreciate that.

    Thanks!

    Charlie,

The steins were made by Diesinger. The Beer Stein Library has a catalog of Diesinger steins. The small ones are listed as T146 (no mold number). If you search on “Gnomes” you might find a listing for the master stein.

      Charlie,

Sorry, I was trying to do a post for Carrie F. Your stein was made by Eckhardt & Engler of Hoehr-Grenzhausen, Germany. They are no longer in business (closed in 1971).

Ron, Thank you very much for the quick response, any idea of the worth? I see vast ranges and cant be too sure.

It is from the modern era plus relief steins are not that popular as they were mass produced. Depending on condition, it probably would only go for $25 at most.
