Hello! My name is Andrew. I’m a Museum Studies graduate student at University of Missouri, St. Louis. I’m doing research for a class term paper on steins. I chose this topic because I have a small collection of steins, and I would like to know more. For my research, I would like to talk directly to collectors. There are just a few questions I would like people to answer. Please be as detailed and specific as you can.
1.) Why do you collect steins?
2.) What kinds of steins do you collect?
3.) How do you decide whether or not you will add a stein to your collection? In other words, what qualities does a stein need to have for you to add it to your collection?
4.) What determines the monetary value of a stein? What makes one more valuable than another?
5.) Why do you feel steins are important to study?
If there are any collectors from Missouri here, I would like to talk to you in person. I’ve left a link to my Facebook page. Please feel free to message me.

I do not think you will get a good response through Facebook. You might be get a better one if you provide an email address.

At the top of this page there is a menu bar. Click Chapters then go down to Gateway Steiners. Here will be links to their Facebook page and their Chapter contact.
They are a great group.
