I recently inherited a dozen beer steins from my father-in-law. He was stationed in Germany in the late 50’s early 60’s and that is when I believe he acquired these steins. The link below shows 2 of the steins, one is has a music box in the bottom and the song is “O du wunderschoner deutscher Rhein”. Can someone give me some guidance on how to figure out what I have. I did some looking, but there is so much information out there.
Well, they are modern (post war) souvenir steins. One is a music box stein. One doesn’t have a lid. That’s what you have. They are no doubt of sentimental value to you but they have very little market value (at least the ones in the photos.
