Maker's Mark on bottom appears to be the WMF "ostrich". Under the mark is the number 72 and under the 72 is the word GERMANY. Lid opens like a stein. No engraved words. Designs in brass/bronze covered with honey-colored patina. To see pictures email rchamltn@bajabb.com
