Can anyone shed light on the origins of this family heirloom? I found it packed away in a box full of my grandfather's items. Photos are below. It shows 1972 Olympicstadt Munchen on it and has markings and a foil sticker on the bottom. My grandfather was stationed in Germany around that time so, while I am unsure, he might have picked it up there. I have no knowledge of steins and therefore can not be sure of its origins or authenticity. Should I fill it with my favorite beverage or should I put it on my shelf? Is it authentic? Thank you for taking the time to help. http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa142/naandisbucket/Stein_bottom.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa142/naandisbucket/Stein_front.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa142/naandisbucket/Stein_side1.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa142/naandisbucket/Stein_side2.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa142/naandisbucket/Stein_inside_lid.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa142/naandisbucket/Stein_lid.jpg
