David, I don't think they were making steins in China at that time. Whether Gerz made it, we can't say for certain, but I doubt that someone would have put the Gerz sticker on it. Therefore, I would presume it was made by Gerz. The name Gerz would not have much of an effect on the price or worth of the stein. Ron
