It seems the manufacturer will not be identifiable, as that would be a mark on the bottom. From the DBGM (which is a trademark on the type of pewter lid) it is after WWII, a modern stein, probably from the 60's or 70's (the B stands for Bundesrepublik. It would not be rare or especially valuable, look for comparable steins on ebay for an idea.
