The positioning of the strap/shank could certainly indicate a replaced lid. However, the coloration and motifs really don't indicate a replacement. Unlike most Mettlach steins that have "matching" lids, HR steins generally don't. One of the few exceptions is HR 510 which depicts roosters. This stein is often found with a matching lid. Again, I have seen this stein with a deep red/blue body, and a pastel colored inlay...not entirely matching.
