The well known acronym-named beer DAB has its full name as Dortmunder Aktienbrauerei. It seems Aktienbrauerei can be one word or two. The brewery found by Chris seems to use Aktien as its actual name, probably from long use of the abbreviation. It has a lion on its emblem as well, but if your stein says Munich it sounds like the best known Lowenbrau.
