I bought on eBay from another SCI member a Schützenliesl stein. It looks pre-WWI to me and I like it, although the lid is loose. It is porcelain with painted highlights that you can feel, a lithopane, and a SS11 thumbrest. The photos are still at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220489994700 The lithopane seems unusually thick, you need a bright light to see it well. The last photo, of the capacity, is the wrong stein, presumably a slip up. An thoughts as to date or possible manufacturer?
