I came across 2 O'Hara dial co. steins in a antique mall and they intrigued me somewhat. One had a lid inlay of the Waldorf Astoria and the other was missing the lid inlay. I did a little research online and apparently the company branched out into other hand painted products after the the death of the founder in 1912 and decline in demand for hand painted clock faces. The thing that impressed me the most were the quite sturdy and very german looking thumblifts, straps and lids. The bodies on the other hand were more in line with common mugs and teacups. Both had hand painted monk scenes. Any other info would be interesting.
