I agree with Ron, SCI and the local chapters, and special stein auction houses are the best bet. Ebay's ok, but you have to be careful. I've been collecting since the early 90's and find that steins in Antique Stores are getting scarcer & scarcer. When you do find something nice it's usually over-priced. Mostly find AB steins, and common post-war stuff.
