Ron, I finally had time to check out your links. They are interesting, but I did not see anything that would greatly improve on the article in our library on deciphering old German text. It is called "What Does This Blasted Thing Say." If anyone can improve on that article, I will be happy to put it in the library. Thanks for the input.
