I have a stein that has a lid that is the shape of a cat. The front of it has writings that I believe are in German but I am not sure. What kind is this and how can I find out what it is worth. I know that is has been boxed up for a long time and that it seems to be in good shape. No chips, etc. The cat head I think is pewter but again it could be another form. Thank you for any information that anyone can give me on this.
