It was made by Matthias Girmscheid, circa 1900, and is entitled Courting Couple. This three liter pitcher, in mint condition with the pewter lid, would be worth $90 to $125 per The Beer Stein Library. The cost of a repair and new lid would no doubt exceed the price it could be sold for in a professionaly repaired condition. You can't price sentimental value. Ron
