Hello, I recently purchased this stein on Ebay with the inlaid lid broken and poorly repaired. The Body of the stein itself is in excellent condition however. I never have been able to afford an etched Mettlach in pristine condition and this will be my first Mettlach albeit damaged. I was wondering if it is possible to get a solid pewter lid perhaps off a broken mettlach and mount it on mine and if so who might be a good recommendation to do this if possible. Thanks in advance.
