Herb. There probably isn't a definite date since the post-WWI years were difficult due to the super inflation they experienced. I suppose that whenever they were able to start producing, especially the souvenir type of steins, was when they went back to the cobalt base. The souvenir steins were mostly pottery and had to be sealed with the paint. By the way, our SCI friend, Albert Jakob Thewalt was the source of the information. Ron
