I have a stein,.5l, basic pewter lid, 1346,GERMANY, and slashes approx like an H on bottom, with "JW Remy"-like brown bands. The stein is engraved with the exception of the two figures, sitting on a bench, in relief. Looks like "the" Trumpeter and lady. I would appreciate any thoughts on the possible maker and the unusual technique.
