I acquired a .4L stein (eBay #260 79 132 015). A stein with the same mold #1294 and with the same artwork appears in Kirsner's book on page 247, but as .5L. Several peculiarities are the monochrome brown handle and especially the grayish-blue colored bands on the top and bottom. Also, the picture on the stein is dark compared to the other JWR steins that I have handled. Kind of looks like a cheap imitation, if that is possible. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
