Alex, Lyn's list shows it as 0,4 L, so I think Gary's book just listed it by looks rather than confirming the actual capacity. You bought a salt-glazed stein rather than the normal pottery stein made by JWR. I'm not sure if they had the capacity to make salt-glazed stoneware or if they loaned their mold to some other manufacturer to make for them. Lyn Ayers can probably help you with this. Ron
