I have an Original King 5 "Western Germany" Stein. In researching, all the steins I see have pewter lids. My stein has on earthenware lid. The only "pewter" is attached from earthenware handle to lid. I am not looking for news that my stein is worth millions. Just want to sell it on ebay, and want to know the difference between pewter and earthenware lid, AND the meaning of the scene on the outside.
