With a little bit of study, and with knowledge of the mark shown on the Stein Marks page, the mark on the base of the eBay stein can be seen to say REGENSBURG. EW Weidamen may in fact have purchased bodies from Reinhold Merkelbach, but I don't believe this is one of them.
