I came across a very well made 1/2 L stein that looks to be hand painted. Within the leave framed border for the picture sits a man with a black top hat and the detail is so fine that on the table one can see the very small HB on the stein- unfortunately, the stein is not marked, but the glaze and quality is amazing. Based on the lid and overall look, I suspect it was made between 1897 and possibly as late as 1910. I would like to post a picture- my question is would this be considered a brewery stein because of this small HB stein that can hardly be seen?
