Fabio, While Rastal obtained the license for the official Oktoberfest kruge beginning in 1978, they did not produce all the kruge. Production was low in the early years and Rastal farmed out the production to Franz Stöber. The stein manufacturer's mark appears under the capacity mark. The Franz Stöber mark is the initials "FS" in a diamond. After the success of the official Oktoberfest krug, Rastal started producing them. Now all the kruge show Rastal on the bottom, but the manufacturer's mark remains below the capacity mark. Rastal's mark is simply the word "Rastal." Over the years the capacity mark has changed from the left side of the handle to the right side of the handle for no apparent reason. Under an agreement with the Oktoberfest officials, the production number of the kruge is not published. I obtained this information from Rastal. Ron
