Larry, Because of its size, this stein normally has a lift off ceramic lid. Who made this lid? Any pewter marks? Any markings on the bottom? Was the stein made by Simon Peter Gerz (original designer of the mold), Albert Jacob Thewalt (who helped Gerz in the firing process for their new ovens) or Zoeller & Born (current owners of the mold)?
