Jordan, You really need to find a copy of that book as you will find it useful. The book shows a lid with just HB as um 1880 and one with Hofbrauhaus Keller as um 1900. There isn't much writing in the book, so I don't know how he is determining the ages. You might try contacting him. Have you searched for any interesting German sites? If you aren't a member of SCI, you should consider joinging. There is one member in St. Louis that specializes in brewery steins. Ron
