Chris, Where did you find that reference? It isn't mentioned on Wikipedia. The reference I saw looked like a recommendation changing the "C" to "K" for most spellings (there might have been some exceptions) for uniformity and it was dated in the early 1920s. It doesn't seem to be in the official spelling changes for German. Ron
