If you are looking for a reasonably new lidless stein, you will be able to buy several for your $200.00 since lidless steins command much less money. The newer steins also haven't had the dollar staying power of the "older" (1900) steins.
That said, of the newer steins, I might suggest A.J Thewalt as an option. You might have to purchase it with the lid and then remove the lid. Why you would want to do this, I have no idea. I would stay away from any Domex steins since they have a history of some parts being made in Asia and then final assembly in Germany.
