I'll take a stab. Your stein is a souvenier of the Hofbrau Haus in Munich. The 051 is really a capacity mark of 05L for 1/2 liter. Since it says Federal Republic of German, it was probably made after WWll and before Germany was split into East and West in 1949. There are plenty of these around so your value would be modest.
