I'm sorry to say that your stein is a reproduction. It's easy to tell this from the lithophane - at the time before WW1, soldiers in Germany were considered to be "tough guys", and did not give flowers to their woman - at least not openly. So the friends of your soldier would have laughed at him if he came up with this stein. Anyway, this particular lithophane is already known as one that can be found only in post WW2 reproductions.
