Thanks for the info Art. Mine was given to a relative in about 1986-87. Inside it was a letter from the original "seller" who listed other tankards he was to be receiving from "Germany" soon...all were high ranking german officers from various branches of service. The letterhead was from the "Museum of Air Power" in Hales Corner , WI and was signed by the "curator" and "Head Researcher". The humorous part is I have kept the tankard packed carefully since the mid 80's to preserve it from damage. I should have been enjoying a Beck's Dark in it!!
