I was told by Constantin von Schierholz that the Schierholz firm is interested in making steins to order. While your order is small, they may be able to accommodate you at a higher price. Herr Schierholz provided me with some quotes for slightly larger quantities, but I lost all my e-mail a couple of months ago. The Schierholz firm is now owned by Seltmann-Weiden. They did the boxer stein that was featured in the August 2004 Stein of the Month. Go to The Stein of the Month page and click on Archives to see the August 2004 article. Albert Stahl is another current manufacturer that has done some dog steins. You can try contacting them at ther web site at http://www.porzellanmanufaktur-ens-stahl.de/index2.html. Both firms produce a nice stein.
