I guess the first question is why do you care? The presence or absence of a trademark symbol isn't going to make a bit of difference in what you get for it on eBay. If you've got a hollow head Bud Man with a trademark, then they obviously exist in that format. If anything, the presence of the trademark means it isn't from the earliest production runs. However, few collectors have much interest in that level of trivia. - fjl
