Hi, I am still trying to find more information on two beer steins that were my grandfathers. They are in perfect shape with no cracks or chips. Can anyone tell me more information about them? How old? Translation?
Stein # 1 Measurements 8" Tall 3 3/4" Wide No marks on bottom but on side by the handle is the #407 and it is raised. On the front is the word -Mohlbekoms- Near the handle it is marked 1/2 L with a line under it.
Stein # 2 Measurements 9" Tall 3 3/4" Wide On the bottom it is marked Germany and the #4 Near the handle is the #1116 On the stein it says " Trinke, tanze,herze, Mit hubschen Madchen scherze!"
