It would be helpful if you were to include photos with your description. Mettlach steins have a large collector interest but the value depends on the mold number, its condition, and how it is lidded (inlay or pewter). If you give more information as to its mold number, capacity, and type of lid; I could give you an approximate value based upon mint condition. The mold number should be on the base (bottom) of the stein (just list all the numbers you see). The capacity should be on the side near the handle on the rim. Regarding the lid; tell us if the lid is all pewter or if it has a pewter ring with a ceramic insert.
