Members:

This is a repeat of a message I sent earlier; I'm correcting it due to an e-mail address error.

I have an antique regimental (Reservist Schulter) beer stein that I would like to price and sell.

The stein is German and has a pewter top. The top has a military with a rifle standing by a lion. The handle is topped by a lion wearing a very ornate crown. It is 12 inches tall. The base has what looks like the names of the men in the regiment. On the pewter top it has RESERVE HAT * RUH engraved on it. There is also more writing in German on the lid. It seems to be numbered (0,5L). When you open it and look down into the tankard, it has an engraving inside the cup that looks like two men. Scanned pictures of it are available upon request.

Does anyone have an idea what my stein might be worth, or do you have any information about it? Your comments would be appreciated.

Thank you,
