I rencently boght an old Stein with porcelain inlay in ebay and to my sorprise I found that it has several markings on its base: "1526", "20", "II" and "%".
Could this be a Mettlach Stein? The stein looks like a #1526 but it has not the Villeroy&Boch logo.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Regards, David
