I'm kind of surprised that you found this listing which was prepared to offer the stein for sale. Charter sold a portion of their business to another company some time ago, and this should have disappeared long ago.
That aside, I agree with Ron's reply to your inquiry, although I am inclined to suggest $150 as a fair price for this stein. It is probably the nicest done by Mettlach in the modern era, and its design has special appeal to Mettlach collectors.
