Is this a beer pitcher or a milk pitcher by Villeroy & Boch?

I need some help with the markings on this villeroy & Boch pitcher thingy. At first I thought it might be a stein , but looking through my stein book, I am now leaning towards a milk pitcher. Can anyone help me with the marks on the bottom? Any ideas as to what this actually is would be very welcomed.
