Thanks again for help. Have another... I take it the Egon Bay stein is pretty much all too common, but have a nicer one with the newer Marzi & Remy mark and an incised 'X' and Germany. It's not in high relief like the others, it's flat and painted with royal scenes (three panels). I understand about the pictures, don't have one available at this time, but is this stein more valuable? it has the flat lid, also, not the 'castle-top'. (Sorry, for lack of better term. Not a beer drinker, nor a stein collector, just an interested party). More of a jewelry nut and wine drinker! But, again, LOVE to learn! Thanks, Kim
