Hi, I'm in charge of selliing several dozen antique German mettlach steins from a family collection (original owner was a German, an antique collector-seller, and knew her stuff! These are from her private collection). The problem is that I don't know how to get fair prices. I was always told that these were some of the best ever made, so I want to do this right. Ebay? Here? Auction house specializing in stiens? I really admire the craftsmanship (some are enormous and highly detailed) and will probably keep some for family remembrance. But i DO need to sell the rest for the estate. Where is my best bet here? Thanks for the great site. I hope I'm in the correct forum! Pam
