I recently saw an interesting stein at a a flea market. It was a round 1/2 liter stein in cobalt blue with lighter colored relief, and had a swastika and a military inscription related to the German regime in power at that time. Underneath the lid it appeared that there was an imprint of some script writing from the top of the lid, but this had been carefully buffed out on the top of the lid. Does anyone have any comments on this stein?
