I'm not positive regarding your two steins but this might help. Stein #1- I have seen this pewterers mark on a number of Marzi & Remy steins and always assumed that this was a mark used by their "in house" pewter department. The heavy open hinge three ring pewter would tend to indicate a date between about 1875 to 1895. However, the body of the stein does not resemble any of the Marzi & Remy steins I have seen and more resembles a Regensburg style. Perhaps the stein had its pewter replaced. Stein #2- I believe this stein is a Reinhold Merkelbach produced during the Art Nouveau period. I'm sure that some of the more knowledgable collectors will correct me if I have made errors and provide you with additional information.
