Here's guess that maybe someone can expand upon. The stein looks to me like some small steins that often come as a set along with a master (pouring) stein. Typically, there would be 4 or more drinking steins with the set. Your stein has some features of Marzi & Remy (M&R), but nothing for certain. M&R usually marked their steins, but may not have marked them all -- particularly if it were destined to be part of a set. It's hard to determine the age from here. I don't think it's c.1900, but can't rule out c.1920-1960. Again, just a guess for starters.
