This stoneware Jugendstil stein is 27.6 cm to the top of the body. The interior is a natural gray color. The body above the top band is cylindrical, 8.2 cm in diameter. From the top of the handle dowmwrd, the body starts at a dia. of 8.9 cm and flares to a maximum of 13.65 cm. The base is 11.9 cm in dia. The dark brown glaze is worn to natural gray at the edges of the handle (low fired?)and the pumpkin color of the design is uneven in that the brown glaze shows through the pumpkin in spots. The base has a mold #1306, a 2L. mark and GERMANY in caps. The handle has 2 pumpkin lines from top to attachment and 2 horizontal lines on the inside of the handle about 2.5 cm below the strap. Does anyone know or would hazard a guess as to who made it and who designed it? Thanks to Ron Gray & Walt Vogdes for help with the pictures. http://www.steincollectors.org/images/pasco1.jpg http://www.steincollectors.org/images/pasco2.jpg
